This is a great set of beginner tools for someone new to modeling or miniature building. The nippers are very similar to God Hand nippers. The jaws are little shorter than my god hands, but still very usable. While these aren't exactly the same and are not built with the same precision, they are still surprisingly good. The blade is sharp enough that it cuts close to parts without leaving an really big nubs or rough cuts. That's fine as even with my god hands I have to go back and clean various nubs. The tweezers are a chunky set of tweezers. The tips align well and allow you to precisely pick up small items. The hobby knife is functional, but I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't include a knife with a #11 blade instead of the small balded one they have. The one include is sharp and has a good point, but it is so small it will go dull quickly making it have very limited use. A #11 is a much more usable blade. It is interesting that they included a knife with a scribe point for it. There have been a handful of times where one would have come in useful, so it is a nice include. There is only one of the scribe points so if you loose it or damage it, you will have to search for on. It comes with 10 of blades, but once you run out of them, you may have a hard time finding replacements for it, which will be unfortunate as it will really only fit these blades.I do like the inclusion of sanding pads, but they are a very high grit making them only really good for finish sanding and polishing, not great for rough sanding bigger protrusions or other things. They are about as durable as any other sanding pads I've used. All said it is a good price for the kit, even if the knife is limited usefulness. If you can find blades for it, it will be much more useful long term.
