I rarely run across products that far exceed my expectations, but this travel brush set is one of them. The brushes are the perfect range of sizes for small sketches and detail work, up to larger paintings. They are also very high quality, with a nice point at the end of each brush. The handles screw on and off, so you don't have to worry about them wobbling when you're painting or getting stuck when you're trying to put them away. Even the pouch is of nice quality. I am very picky about the paint brushes I use. I restore antiques and sometimes a customer just has places where the finishes rub off after decades of use. I mix up a small quantity of finish and apply with these very small tip brushes. I am also a plastic model builder and have a second set of the brushes to pinstripe mosel cars and detail the cockpits of aircraft. These brushes stand up to multiple cleanings and don’t shed bristles the way others I have tried do. In my opinion, if you need fine detail brushes, these can not be beat.One person found this helpful.

These are great brushes. Lots of small-brush options (from tiny to small), including both pointed and flat edge. I painted some very small points (gun sites) and was able to control the application perfectly. And they rinsed well and appear to hold their shape, with no lost bristles. Also, I love the fat area near the brush to hold on, basically pencil sized, so you can get a really good hold. Very cool brushes.

I wanted these brushes for travel but I end up preferring them all the time. I love the metal covers as they really protect the brush. Great watercolour and gouache brushes in 3 great sizes. I highly recommend!

I was worried about this product seeming 'cheap' and having loose handles, as some people have noted. Not the case at all. The brushes are well made, the lids securely fasten to the base of the brush to form a good-fitting handle, and the brushes have a nice weight when using them. They hold a decent amount of water, and the point goes back to being sharp. I like them a lot.
