Great variety of tones

Great coverage and a variety of skin tones. Thinning them for my air brush is easy with a bit of thinner.

Really likes these paints

I'm just getting started but these seem to be nice paints. I've used them with a brush and with my airbrush and both results looked good. It's thick enough to give good coverage without having to do a lot of layers but still thin enough my airbrush didn't have an issue with it. Since I'm learning I didn't want to spend a lot on paints but these seem to be a really good value and I will definitely buy these again when I need to restock. Unlike some airbrush paint I bought that had the lids all cracked. These are very nicely packaged and arrived in tact.

Orange toned, vintage toy skin tones

Hello friends, I selected this set of eight skin tone colored acrylic paints for models.

I have a housemate who is a model hobbyist. I gave these paints to him and asked him to give his honest opinion. He says that all of them have an orangy tone to them so they remind him of skin colors one would see on vintage action figures and toys. The skin tones are not natural or realistic. He says it's fine though if you're working with models that are from animes or you want that toy look. If you're trying to do realistic looking pieces you'll need a different set of paints or will need to adjust the color because they are orange toned. Other than that, he gave a quick run-through on them and said they work just fine in fine detail painting. He was happy with them.

Good quality

I recently completed several craft projects that required skin-toned paints, and I found it quite challenging to locate suitable options. This set of paints was exactly what I needed. Although I'm not using them for model painting, I only required a small amount of skin-toned paint for my project. The paints are of high quality, and the included brush is also excellent - there are no loose hairs, and the fine tip allows for precise application of the paint exactly where I need it.

Pretty decent mini paint

I usually use the "usual" brands of paints for my gaming miniatures. I gave these a try and they work well for light skin tones. They stay mixed, don't seperate easily and are worked well for base, layer and glaze.

I'm looking forward to seeing other products from Golden Maple, as I would like an alternative to the "standards".
